Firestation Open House

We went to an open house at a Firestation today and the kids had so much fun, especially Joshua! He loved watching the helicopter fly in and land near by. There were many demonstations and lots of fire engines. They also had this big slide that Joshua and Jeremy went on.

It's a Boy!!!

My brother and his lovely wife had a baby on March 8th, 2008. His name is Jacob Tyler Smith. Healthy little guy. He's so adorable. Ryan was able to leave Iraq for the birth of his child for 18 days before returning.

Fun in the Snow

We had so much fun in the snow 2 weeks ago. It was Joshua's first time sledding and boy did he love it! He would ride with Jeremy and they would go so fast down the hill. When it was my turn to ride with Joshua, I almost hit a tree! And Joshua didn't want to ride with me anymore! Abigail liked the snow, she was more in awe. She didn't want to walk in it or touch it. Just look at it.

Hi Everyone!

It's been a long time since my last post. Sorry :( We've all been so busy. Here are a few updates.

1. When my brother SPC Ryan Smith arrived in Iraq they changed his orders, so he was transferred to Bayji Iraq. Iraq's biggest oil refinery is located there. Ryan is doing well and enjoys his job keeping up the communications for the soldiers.

2. Joshua is now 3 years old! And we're currently in the potty training battle. And yes, it is a battle.

3. Abigail turns 1 next month. Time goes by so quickly, especially having your second child.

4. Jeremy and I are doing well. No major changes. We're just busy (of course with young ones!).

5. Ryan and his beautiful wife Cori are expecting a baby boy on March 6th!!!!

6. The economy is going into a recession, there isn't anyone to vote for for president and the Olympian athletes have to bring their own food to China because the food there isn't safe.
